To protect the integrity, safety, and enjoyment of The Girls Who Ball (“TGWB”) community, we expect all members, guests, and team members to uphold the following standards of behavior.

1. Kindness and Respect

We are a space for women and allies who celebrate connection through sports, culture, and community. Discrimination, harassment, or judgment based on gender, race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, identity, or political views will not be tolerated. Every member shares responsibility for maintaining a respectful and inclusive environment.

2. Positive Interaction

Respect is fundamental to our community. Abusive, threatening, or harassing language or behavior—whether verbal, written, digital, or physical—will result in disciplinary action, up to and including suspension or permanent termination of membership.

3. Responsible Conduct

Having fun is encouraged; inappropriate or disruptive behavior is not. Members and guests must refrain from excessive intoxication, illegal drug use, or any conduct that endangers or disturbs others. TGWB reserves the right to deny entry or remove anyone engaging in disorderly, unsafe, or disrespectful behavior at any TGWB event or activation.

4. Accountability

Members are responsible for the behavior of any guests they bring. Misconduct by a guest reflects on the member and may lead to disciplinary action, including suspension or revocation of membership.

5. Non-Disclosure and Privacy

Events and community interactions are private to our members. Recording, photographing, or sharing details about other members or guests without their consent is prohibited. TGWB encourages content creation and sharing that highlights our events, but all members are expected to respect the privacy and comfort of others when doing so.

Membership Rules

1. Application and Approval

Submitting a membership application signifies your agreement to these House Rules. Membership is granted at the discretion of TGWB and may be reviewed or revoked at any time for conduct deemed contrary to these standards.

2. Payment and Renewal

Membership fees are due upon approval and renewed monthly or annually based on membership terms at sign up. Failure to complete payment with in the timeline outlined in your membership terms, will result in suspension or termination of membership privileges.

3. Resignation and Refunds

Membership fees are non-refundable. Refunds or credits, if any, will be issued solely at TGWB’s discretion based on the terms outlined at membership sign up.

4. Membership Privileges

Membership grants access to TGWB events, communications, and benefits as outlined in your tier level. It does not confer ownership rights, profit participation, or voting power in the organization.

Event Conduct

1. Substance Use:

The use, possession, or sale of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in immediate removal and permanent membership termination.

2. Safety & Security:

TGWB events may employ security personnel and recording devices for the protection of all attendees. Any incident involving harm, threat, or harassment will be investigated and may be referred to law enforcement when appropriate.

3. Photography & Recording:

Members and guests are welcome to record and share their TGWB experiences on social media. However, members must always be mindful of others’ privacy and obtain consent before filming or posting identifiable content of another attendee. TGWB reserves the right to request the removal of any content that misrepresents the brand, violates another member’s privacy, or breaches event confidentiality agreements.

Unauthorized use of TGWB trademarks, logos, or event footage is strictly prohibited.

4.Liability:

Attendance at TGWB events is at the member’s own risk. TGWB and its affiliates are not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to property, except where required by law.

Disciplinary Action

Conduct that is prejudicial to the reputation, safety, or values of TGWB will result in disciplinary review. Depending on the severity of the violation, TGWB may:

• Issue a written warning;

• Suspend membership privileges; or Permanently revoke membership without refund.

All disciplinary decisions are final and made at TGWB’s sole discretion.

Privacy and Data

TGWB collects and retains member information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Personal data will never be sold or shared except as required by law or necessary for membership operations.

Amendments

TGWB may amend these House Rules at any time to better serve the safety and integrity of the community. The latest version will always be available on our official website.

Code of Engagement

The purpose of The Girls Who Ball is to create a community of women who are sports fans and like attending sporting events. TGWB is about joy, and connection and celebrating this community of women who love sports. We will not tolerate communications between Members that undermine our purpose. Therefore, communications must not be obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights (including publicity rights), or otherwise injurious to third parties or objectionable, and does not consist of or contain software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings, or any form of or unsolicited commercial electronic messages or other commercial messages. You may not use a false e-mail address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead Member(s). TGWB reserves the right (but not the obligation) to remove or edit such communications and may regularly review public communications. If TGWB believes communications violate this Code of Engagement, in addition to removing or editing the communications TGWB may terminate the Membership of the Member in violation. Additionally, if Members elect to communicate privately, the terms of this Code of Engagement still apply. If you believe a Member has violated this Code of Engagement in private communications with you, please contact us as soon as possible at legal@thegirlswhoball.com.

If you do post content and/or communications, and unless we indicate otherwise, you grant TGWB a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, perform, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media. You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content that you post; that the content is accurate; that use of the content you supply does not violate this policy and will not cause injury to any person or entity; and that you will indemnify TGWB for all claims resulting from content you supply. TGWB has the right but not the obligation to monitor and edit or remove any activity or content. TGWB takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any content posted by you or any third party.
